I began my career with Milton Senior Living in 2010 as a caregiver. In 2016, I was promoted to Assistant Director at our Beloit location and soon after, I returned to Milton Senior Living as the Executive Director. I manage the overall operations, upkeep and staff of Milton Senior Living to make sure all functions of the facility are consistent with our mission of providing quality care for all our residents. I am newly married and enjoy spending my free time with my husband and family. I reside in Janesville.
I’ve been the RN at our Milton location since 2012 and have been at the Beloit location since 2016. As the Delegating RN I oversee the medication administration, educate the staff and delegate specific nursing tasks to the care staff who meet certain requirements. My nursing career started as a teenager when I worked as a nurses’ aide at the Fort Atkinson Hospital. After high school graduation, I received my LPN then after my 2 children were grown, I went back to school for RN degree (ADN) and later my BSN (2012). I completed the Parish Nurse training at Marquette University in 2000 and have volunteered my time serving the members of our church. I also currently work part time at Family Practice Clinic in Fort Atkinson as an RN Care Coordinator. I live in my home town of Fort Atkinson with my husband and enjoy our children and grandchildren’s visits. I enjoy gardening and growing flowers and vegetables to share with others. In August 2015 I completed the Master Gardener certification and volunteer my time in serving the community. I have had the privilege of traveling to Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ecuador, and Kenya to serve and use my nursing training.
In 2017 I began working at Milton Senior Living as the LPN/Wellness Coordinator. My role here at Milton Senior Living involves overseeing medication management and coordinating care with other medical professionals for continuity of care for the residents. I have been an LPN since 2001 with the primary focus being in Long Term Care. I truly enjoy working with the Geriatric population. I find it to be a very rewarding and fulfilling career. I live in Janesville, WI and I am the proud Mother of two sons, both of which served in the Military. I enjoy spending time with my family and living life in my free time.
I began my adventure at Milton Senior Living in 2002 as a caregiver. I have been the Activity Director since 2005. I plan all of the activities and facilitate most of them. I enjoy planning activities that our residents enjoy and watching them have fun doing them. In 2015 I became a certified Chair Chi instructor and have added that to our list of activities. My husband and I have been married for 35+years. We have one son and 2 grandchildren who are the highlight of our lives. We love camping, geocaching and spending time with family.
I have been working at Milton Senior Living since 2009 as a Dietary Aide. In 2011 I was promoted to Food Service Director. In this role, I oversee the functions of the kitchens by menu planning, ordering food and supplies, training staff, meal prep and much more. I love helping our residents as I feel it makes a difference in their lives. My husband and I live in Milton, Wisconsin. We absolutely love spending time with our children and our three grandchildren!
I am so excited to be working for Great Lakes Senior Living. My role as the Marketing Director is to work with families and potential residents to assist them in transitioning to their new home in one of our communities. At each of our communities, we strive to create a compassionate environment where our residents and guests are treated with dignity and respect. I love to travel and spend time with family and friends.
